Islamabad: Former Pakistan cricket team player Mohammad Yousuf has made an appeal to the nation to support Pakistani cricket team captain Babar Azam.
Mohammad Yousuf, in support of Babar Azam, stated that the entire nation should stand behind him. Babar Azam is Pakistan’s captain and represents the nation.
The former cricketer emphasized that all the players in our team are playing for Pakistan. In sports, there are wins and losses, but we need to support them. We have lost the World Cup several times before; there is bad performance, but we must maintain a broader perspective because not having the right mindset for upcoming matches could pose challenges for our team.
He expressed hope that Pakistan would win the next four matches and qualify among the top four teams. Therefore, he said, we as players and the nation, must keep the belief that the national cricket team is one of the best teams.
