According to international news agencies, in the recent Israeli bombing of Gaza, the wife and children of Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief, Wael al-Dahdouh, also became martyrs. The occupying Israeli forces targeted the journalist’s residence, where his wife, son, and daughter embraced martyrdom.

According to local media reports, Al Jazeera’s bureau chief’s son, Mahmoud, was in his last year of school, while his daughter was 7 years old. It is reported that other family members were safe from becoming targets of the Israeli attack due to being relocated to a refugee camp.
