Possibility of Increase in Petrol and Diesel Prices

Islamabad: Due to the rise in global oil prices, there is a possibility of an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in Pakistan from November 1st.

According to media reports, Pakistan may witness an expected increase of 3.55 Pakistani Rupees per liter in petrol prices, while the price of diesel could increase by 0.82 Pakistani Rupees per liter.

It should be noted that international petrol and diesel prices have seen an increase of 3.14 and 1.14 US Dollars per barrel, respectively.

It is noteworthy that the caretaker government had reduced the prices of petrol and diesel on October 1st after a series of price hikes in petroleum products. However, there is now circulating news on social media regarding another possible increase in petrol and diesel prices.
