OGRA Raises LNG Prices, Issues Notification

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) by $0.51 per MMBTU from October 1st.

OGRA has issued a notification regarding this increase, stating that the price of LNG has been raised by $0.50 per MMBTU on the Sui Northern system and by $0.51 per MMBTU on the Sui Southern system.

After this increase, the new price of LNG on the Sui Northern system is set at $13.33, while on the Sui Southern system, the new price of LNG is $13.87 per MMBTU. Experts believe that this increase in LNG prices will result in higher electricity costs.
