Multan: In a historic move, Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans has appointed its first female bowling coach.
According to private television reports, 30-year-old Catherine Dalton from Ireland has been appointed as the fast bowling coach for the Multan Sultans, an English Cricket Board (ECB) certified Level 3 advanced coach. Her experience also includes playing four One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and four Twenty20 International matches for the Ireland women’s cricket team.

Before this appointment, Catherine Dalton had coaching experiences in the United Kingdom and India, and she has previously worked with Pakistani fast bowlers, including Mohammad Ilyas, Sameen Gul, Arshad Iqbal, and Under-19 players.
Catherine Dalton expressed her delight in joining the PSL franchise, stating that her involvement with a major men’s T20 franchise in Pakistan is a matter of great honor for her.
