Karachi: The chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, Muhammad Hussain Mehanti announced that under Jamaat-e-Islami, Seerat-un-Nabi and Milad-un-Nabi programs will be organized in major and small cities across Sindh from Karachi to Kashmore in the month of Rabi al-Awwal, in order to spread the message of the Prophet (PBUH). In addition to central, provincial, and district leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, renowned scholars and intellectuals will address these programs.
He stated that love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and obedience to his teachings are the foundation of our faith, and the solution to all our problems, including inflation, uncertainty, restlessness, and external aggression is the enforcement of the Quran and Sunnah. The love for the Prophet (PBUH) demands that the struggle for the Islamic system in the country should be accelerated.
The provincial leader of JI further said that in order to publicize the message of the Prophet (PBUH), a one-day, three-day, and six-day Seerat conference is being held under the children’s wing, where students will participate in quizzes, recitation, and Hamd and Naat competitions, and finally, inter-district competitions will be held across Sindh. He said that the Seerat of the Prophet (PBUH) should be read and listened to in such a way that it becomes easy to act upon the Sunnahs in our lives.
Seerat-un-Nabi programs organized throughout Sindh will feature prominent leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, including Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch, Asadullah Bhutto, Rashid Naseem, Dr. Meraj ul Huda Siddiqui, Provincial Amir Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, Deputy Amirs Professor Nizamuddin Memon, Mumtaz Hussain, Hafiz Nasrullah Chana, and other leaders.
