Islamabad: The president of PDM, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, has stated that there won’t be an alliance with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the elections. He mentioned that a coalition could be formed for the elections in Sindh with the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), and Pakistan Muslim League (N), but no alliance will be made with the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Speaking on a private TV program, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman emphasized that if the Election Commission announces the elections, they will actively participate. He said, “We are fully prepared for the elections within 90 days.” He also added that the President of the country does not have the authority to set the election date, and if they do so, it would be a disgrace.
