Lahore: The Patron-in-Chief of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jahangir Tareen, has said that September 6, 1965, is a significant chapter in our history.
Jahangir Tareen stated that 58 years ago, the entire nation stood like a solid wall against the enemy. In his statement on Defense Day, he said that Pakistan’s armed forces buried all the nefarious intentions of the enemy in the dust.
Furthermore, he stated that the Pakistan Army has always safeguarded Pakistan’s freedom and security, and the Pakistani armed forces have consistently made the nation proud.
Jahangir Tareen expressed that we pay tribute to our martyrs and veterans. He further mentioned that the key to the region’s progress lies in a just resolution of the Kashmir issue. We will continue to support the fair struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir until they achieve their right to self-determination.
