New Delhi: In a school in India, a Hindu teacher openly mistreated two Muslim students, instructing them to ‘go to Pakistan’.
According to Indian media reports, in a school in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka, two Muslim students from the 5th grade were involved in a dispute, which angered the teacher. The teacher told the students to ‘go to Pakistan,’ asserting that this is a Hindu country.
An education department officer said after the incident the teacher had been transferred, and an internal investigation against the teacher had been initiated. Further action will be taken against the teacher after the report is submitted.
