Karachi: Eight people were injured in an explosion near Lasbela Chowk in Jamshed Quarter when a sewerage line exploded, causing extensive damage to several shops.
According to the police, a powerful explosion occurred underground in a sewerage line in front of the Noman Mosque near Lasbela Chowk after Friday prayers. As a result of the explosion, shops within a radius of 100 yards and a food stall were extensively damaged, while 8 individuals were injured. According to the Edhi Foundation, the 8 injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital.
