Islamabad: Army Chief, General Asim Munir, has expressed his determination to lead Pakistan towards progress and success. He stated that we must utilize the resources we have been blessed with and rely on Allah’s mercy to achieve the nation’s development goals.
Addressing the audience at Minerals Summit, the Army Chief emphasized the importance of never letting go of hope and maintaining steadfastness on the path of peace and prosperity. He stressed that everyone has a responsibility to contribute and play their part in uplifting the economy and ensuring peace and happiness.
He praised the government for establishing SIFC (Special Investment Facilitation Council) in collaboration with all institutions, which provides a platform for investors. General Munir assured that they will create an investor-friendly system.
He declared that as a nation, we will step forward, work hard, and with Allah’s help, we will overcome the challenges and lead the country out of difficulties.
Regarding foreign investors, he assured them that they can come with confidence as immediate decisions will be made, and their capital will not go to waste. He further added that there will be no hindrance in issuing mining licensing. He mentioned that through foreign investment new economic technology will be introduced, leading to the establishment of industries and increasing the knowledge of the locals, and consequently the problems of local people will be resolved, and minerals will contribute to general progress.
