Islamabad: There is a possibility of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan visiting Pakistan next month. According to diplomatic sources, the visit is expected to take place in the first week of August. During the visit, a delegation from Turkey will also arrive with President Erdogan. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will also accompany President Erdogan.
Hakan Fidan will meet with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Zardari at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the visit, the Turkish President will also have a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Both countries will also sign agreements to enhance mutual cooperation in trade and defense. The memorandums of understanding will be signed during the visit. The Turkish Navy’s senior officials will also be part of the delegation. The Turkish President and Turkish Navy officials will also participate in the launching ceremony of the new naval vessel PNS Tariq in the Pakistan Navy. For the launching of PNS Tariq, a formal ceremony will be held.
