Collaborative Partnership: The News Tribe signs MoU with Jasarat

KARACHI: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Jasarat Media Group and The News Tribe. According to this MoU, both organizations will jointly strive for the promotion of independent, ethical and true journalism by utilizing the professional skillset and capabilities of both organizations.

The Signing Ceremony of the MoU and joint-venture agreements took place at the Jamiat Al-Falah Building on Akbar Road in Karachi. Syed Tahir Akbar, the Chief Operating Officer of Jasarat newspaper, and Tamjid Ajazi, the Chief Executive Officer of The News Tribe, signed the documents.

Present at the occasion were Nazeer-ul-Hassan, the web editor of Jasarat, A.A. Syed, the deputy editor of Friday Special, Irfan Ahmed, the assignment editor, Kashif Haider, the IT manager, Fazil Naqvi, the deputy marketing manager, Saad Shah, the Chief Executive of HCS Group, Sumaira Shaukat, the Managing Director of Bela Corp and The News Tribe, Ahsan Umar, the Head of Content, and others.

According to the agreement, both organizations will collaborate in the fields of content and marketing through mutual cooperation. In the initial phase, a joint marketing campaign will be launched to increase the combined online subscription of Jasarat newspaper and The News Tribe, and contacts will be made with Muslim readers worldwide. In this regard, a joint committee has been formed which will focus on the subscription and revenue targets for the initial phase.

Furthermore, workshops and symposiums will also be organized to ensure the professional development of new individuals entering the field of journalism and to equip them with technical and digital skills.
