Shaban moon sighted

KARACHI – Central Moon Sighting Committee announced Thursday that the Shaban moon has been sighted in Pakistan and the first of Shaban will fall on Friday.

This was announced by Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman here on Thursday.

The central committee met at the Met. Complex under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman which was also attended by members of the zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committee.

The committee received information about the sighting of the moon from other committees based in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Umer Kot and other places also.

Shab-e-Bara’at will fall on May 12.
