Video: Afridi joins Karachi Kings as President

KARACHI: Former Pakistan skipper and President of Peshawar Zalmi Foundation has now reportedly joined Karachi Kings. He will play a vital role in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise as its President.

Afridi announced his departure from Peshawar Zalmi in the last week of March, citing personal reasons. He also hinted to join another Franchise.
Citing personal reasons behind the resignation, Afridi tweeted early Saturday that “Won the trophy with one team, time for another. I am announcing my end of service as president and player of Peshawar Zalmi team due to personal reasons.”

Afridi wished good luck for Peshawar Zalmi and said that his fans will follow him wherever he will go.

The news was broke by owner of Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal via his official Twitter account.
