Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on Monday appointed legendary Pakistan batsman Muhammad Yusuf as batting consultant for National Cricket Academy (NCA).
As per initial reports, Yusuf was offered the role few weeks earlier. After several meetings, things settled between two parties, and star batsman agreed to take the role.
He, however will join the Academy after two weeks due to personal commitments.
He played 88 Tests, nine as captain and scored 7,431 runs at an average of 53.07, including 24 centuries. He also scored 9,624 runs in 282 one-day internationals.
