Govt to approach opposition on PM’s directives

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif  Thursday chaired a meeting of the cabinet on Monday during which he instructed the federal ministers to approach different opposition parties for discussion over alleged deadlock with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding November 2 protest.As per Dunya News reports, the Prime Minister stressed furthering dialogue and talks over deadlock with the opposition party that was determined to stage a sit-in in the federal capital on Wednesday.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) permitted the party earlier in the day of recording its protest in Democracy Park but barred from paralyzing the capital.

Activists of PTI from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) clashed with police multiple times as they attempted to enter Punjab through Swabi Interchange to reach Islamabad.

Enthusiasts of PTI from across the country were instructed by the chief of the political organisation to reach the federal capital and participate in the protest.
