India beat NZ by 190 runs to take series 3-2

Visakhapatnam: Disgruntled India beat New Zealand in the fifth and final ODI by a massive, 190-run margin and take the series 3-2.

A veritable demolition job, led by Amit Mishra’s 6-2-18-5. His efforts have forced New Zealand to be all out for 79, their lowest total against India in ODIs.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first.

With the help of Kohli (65) and Rohit Sharma’s 70, India posted a 270-run target for New Zealand to win the final game of the series. Not to forget KM Jadhev’s last minute cameo of 39.

New Zealand in response, lost Guptil in the very first over, and then they kept losing wickets at regular interval and were finally down and dusted on just 79 runs.

Mishra was the hero for India tonight for his 6-2-18-5 impressive numbers.
