Baby with bouffant shakes social media

A Nine-week-old baby with huge hair has been stopping shoppers in the tracks Junior Cox-Noon’s bulging brunet has been turning heads and his mum says it now takes her two-hours to do the weekly shop because people stop to say hello.

Junior is only nine-weeks old but has a full head of hair. Mother Noon said her little boy’s hair often had people stopping in their tracks. She said Junior often cries when she tries to put a hat on his head and cover his hair.

Junior’s wild hair has earned him the nickname Baby Bear. He even has his hair blow-dried as it takes too long to dry naturally.

Most newborn babies have little more than a wisp of feathery hair on their head. But Junior, born at Brighton General Hospital weighing 10lb on July 30, has so much hair on head.

His mother Chelsea, said: ‘He came out with loads of hair. I didn’t realize how much until he had his first bath. All the midwives and health visitors said it would fall out because baby hair usually comes out when they rub their head on the back of the cot, but he hasn’t lost any of it and it has grown.

When I take him with me on the weekly shop everyone does a double-take and says, “Oh my God, look at the baby’s hair,” and they have to touch it. He doesn’t seem to mind and gets a little a smirk on his face.

‘People say to me are you going to cut it, but it’s too unique so I’m going to leave it as it is.’

She does, however, blow-dry his hair because it would take too long naturally the baby’s other brothers Mitchell and Preston did not share his hairiness at birth.
