PCB reluctant to send Izimam to England

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) seems to be in no mood to send Chief Selector Inzimam ul Haq to England with national team, to avoid excessive expenses.

According to sources close to PCB, the board wants to save money by not sending Inzimam with national team as the tour will long for two months and this will cost PCB a large sum of money.

They have an excuse that all the matches of the series will be broadcast on TV; hence Inzi has no need to go England and watch matches there.

“However, PCB is ready to let him go along Pakistan A team, for none of A team’s match will be on aired and Inzimam may utilize his presence to pick good performers out,” told the source to TNT.

PCB is already baring an extra Rs 50,00,000 expenses by sending national team to England for conditioning camp.
