Ramadan 2016 in Pakistan on Tuesday, official announcement

KARACHI: Ramadan 2016 moon has been sighted in Pakistan, first Ramadan will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) June 7, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced.

Muslims across Pakistan will mark the first day of Ramadan on Tuesday as Masjid Qasim Ali of Peshawar did not hold its meeting on Saturday.

The official announcement of crescent sighting was made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman .

Meanwhile, Ramadan moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Far East region after which 1st Ramadan 1437 Hijri would fall in the mentioned countries on Monday.
