KARACHI: Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mustafa Azizabadi has rejected media claims and stated that Altaf Hussain did not resign from the post, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Mustafa Azizabadi took Twitter to clarify that MQM Chief only expressed his emotions and asked party workers their consent if they are willing to let him resign. As usual the workers shown their devotion and expressed the intense emotions refusing their party leader to resign and nominating Farooq Sattar instead.
Perhaps, this is the first time that Altaf did not roll back his decision himself as it has been his previous practice rather a senior party leader Mustafa Azizabadi took hold and claimed his resignation decision as null and void.
Earlier, Geo News had reported that MQM Chief has resigned from party leadership, giving away all charges to Farooq Sattar.
