FAISALABAD: Swashbuckling opening batsman and captain of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team in Pakistan Cup 2016, Ahmed Shehzad has broken his own record of highest List A score record today in match against Sindh.
Shehzad, who hurled the bat to break dressing-room glass after getting out on 79 and missing hundred by 21 runs, in last match againstBalochistan, completed his hundred quite comfortably and went on to score 143 runs off 135 balls.
This was his highest score in List A cricket, previous highest was 130*. This was also the top individual score of the tournament so far by any batsman.
Ahmed Shehzad was given captaincy of KPK team after former captain Younis Khan left the tournament in the middle over umpiring row.
He was quite impressive with his captaincy in the last match against  Balochistan.
