Game of Thrones season 6 is perhaps the most awaited series these days. The action-packed, thrilling episodes had spell bounded the audience before and same is being expected from the upcoming season. Here are few facts regarding the season that have come into our knowledge so far,
Following the routine, Game of Thrones season 6 is going to be aired on 24th April, as all but one season have always been premiered in April. The one which is the exception in this regard hit the airwaves at the end of March.

The season’s cast has been revealed but it will be difficult to mention every single one of the cast so to keep things simpler, here are the names whom we bade goodbye.
Ser Barristan (Ian McElhinney), Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram ), Mance Rayder (Ciarin Hinds), Janos Slynt (Dominic Carter), Maester Aemon (Peter Vaughan), Hizdahr zo Loraq (Joel Fry), Selyse Baratheon (Sarah MacKeever), Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane), Myranda (Charlotte Hope), Meryn Trant (Ian Beattie), Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free), and of course, Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
There will also be some new characters on the show, namely Greyjoy eldest brother Euron Greyjoy apparently will make an appearance. Popular actor, Lan McShane is going to be seen in the upcoming season. The former Deadwood star is playing a mystery role and he’s not the only one. Recently, Richard E. Grant also signed on for a mysterious role in Season 6 of Game of Thrones.
There are rumors that Kit Harington would return from dead in the upcoming season. Allegedly, Game of Thrones has confirmed the characters return in November.
