LAHORE: Afghanistan Cricket Board Cheif Executivie Officer Shafiq Stanikzai has called up an emergency meeting to discuss head coach Inzimam ul Haq’s resignation.
According to Geo News sources, ACB chairman has denied reports that PCB chief Shahryar Khan or Inzimam ul Haq contacted him on the matter.
however, he stated that Inzi only informed team manager about his new appointment in PCB on phone.
The urgent meeting of ACB officials will discuss the possible legal action that could be taken against Inzimam for breaching his contract.
Since, Afghan board is sully funded by ICC and BCCI, it is therefore expected that the Big 3 might get involved into the matter.
It is pertinent to mention here that Inzimam ul Haq has not officially resigned as head coach of Afghan Cricket Team as yet.
