Kremlin to spend 2 lac dollars on Lenin’s corpse

MOSCOW- Kremlin has planned to spend 2 lac dollars annually on Russian revolution’s pioneer, Vladimir Lenin’s corpse to keep him looking like Lenin.

The body of Lenin has been on display in the Mausoleum on Red Square in central Moscow for over 90 years.

This expense has been mentioned in the notice published in the website of State Procurement Agency. According to a news agency, Lenin’s embalmed body seems like it’s still alive. He is nearly 146 years old now but it does not look a day over 53.

The Bolshevik leader’s body was displayed on Red Square for the first time in 1924.

There went a long debate for whether Lenin’s body should be buried or displayed in glass casket. Still Russians are divided on this issue. According to a recent survey 62% Russians assented that Lenin’s body should be buried.
