Here are a few traditional Pakistani foods and their origin,
Biryani
Biryani is neither Pakistani, nor Indian. It is Turkish basically.
Chai    Â
Our favorite ‘chai’ did not originate from sub-continent. It born in China.
Naan
Even Naan is a foreigner, it came from Persia.
Jalebi
The most favorite sweet, Jalebi is also not from Pakistan but originally belongs to Middle East.
Chicken Tikka
Our ‘a must’ item at parties and weddings have come from Persia.
Gulab Jamun
It originated from Persia.
