MUMBAI: Famous Pakistan TV actress and model Saba Qamar is all set enter Bollywood film industry in Saket Chaudhry’s next flick.
Saba, who established her mark in Pakistan’s Entertainment Industry with several remarkable roles, will make her Bollywood debut opposite Irrfan Khan.
The talented beauty who proved her mettle as Noor Jehan in Manto will soon fly off to Mumbai to star in her first Bollywood movie.
Talking to Dawn, Qamar dished out some details about the movie, “It’s a family-oriented story of a husband and wife. It has a young, fresh vibe and the wife is a little dominating. People will surely like it.”
The movie will be directed by Saket Chaudhry who previously directed hits like Shaadi Ke Side Effects and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. Qamar will start shooting for the movie in July, 2016.
The actress is currently busy filming for her upcoming Pakistani movie, Lahore Se Aagay opposite Yasir Hussain.
Saba had earlier expressed her desire to work in Bollywood films last year.
“I love Bollywood films and I would love to do a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan or Ranbir Kapoor. It should be A grade work,” she was quoted as saying.
“I would love to do a film with Irrfan Khan too, he is a brilliant actor,” she added.
