THATTA: Chairman Jiye Sindh Tehreek (JST) Shafi Karnani has been assassinated by unknown target killers on Wednesday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Karnani was approached by two attackers when he was travelling back home from his fields near the area of Makli bypass.
Shafi got critically injured and was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Thatta where he succumbed to deadly wounds.
According to the doctors, Karnani was fired five bullets. Police have started investigation and have made checkposts in different areas of the district to curb the perpetrators.
