PIA privatization bill postponed for 3 weeks

ISLAMABAD: Government decided to step down from their strict privatization stance on Pakistan International Airline postponing the decision for three weeks until April 11.

In a meeting between Government and Opposition leaders it was decided that privatization bill would not be presented in parliament today.

Speaking on the matter, Kurshid Shah stated that, “A 10 member committee would be formulated to analyse the issue, comprising of 7 government and 3 opposition members.”

Committee would submit their recommendations and concerns by April 10 and the bill would be presented in the parliament on April 11.

A resolution against Chauhdary Nisar was also moved in the parliament due to his irresponsible statement.
