MOHALI: Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz and inform batsman Mohammad Hafeez will miss the important match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup, against New Zealand at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Team management revealed that both players will be available for match against Australia. According to media reports, Wahab Riaz was hit on the head by ball, and was taken out of the field.
Mohammad Hafeez who did not come for the practice session due to knee pain, will also miss the match against New Zealand game.
Mohammad Amir is the third among injured players. However, team management has kept a silence over his injury.
Talented batsman Khalid LAtif might make way in the side to replace Hafeez, while Wahab Riaz would too be replaced by all-rounder Imad Wasim.
It is also reported that if Hafeez gets a node from doctor and trainer ahead of the game, then Sharjeel Khan might give his place to Khalid Latif.
