Back to back explosion at Brussels airport

BRUSSELS: Two explosions have been heard at Brussels airport and  smoke start rising from one of the terminal buildings, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from international media.

Some reports from the scene speak of casualties but this has not been confirmed. Security forces arrived at site along with Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).

Flight operations has been suspended after the two explosions took place at Brussels airport.

The blasts come four days after the capture in Brussels of Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the Paris attacks in November.

Belgian media say the airport is being evacuated. It has been closed to flights. Rail transport to the facility has been halted.
