Compact discs or CDs may seem obsolete but they are not so in actual. They are still being used for many purposes. Here are some interesting ways to re-use or say recycle your CDs.
You just need to follow these simple steps and see changing that junk CD into something creative art piece.
Start with a few CDs and a paint. A few CDs, acrylic paint, a pencil, a screwdriver and a paint brush. And you are all set to go.
Take a newspaper and keep the CD over it. And start painting the CD with the black color.
After the CD been painted, it will look like the black color has hidden any bearable scratches of CD.
Once the CD been painted all around, let it dry for some time. Later use a pencil and draw an artistic design over it.
If you commit mistake while drawing, stay calm. The pencil lines are light so there is no need of worrying around.
Once you are done with every part of designing, take a screwdriver and etch the paint off the CD around the pencil lines you drawn.
Place the CDs on wall. You can create a chain or hanging wall art by using 3 or more CDs. Just make a loop at the back of it and take it to wherever you want to. This is just an example.
Use your brilliant ideas and create some amazing designs on CDs like this. It is a lot more fun to do it.
Add glitters to CD. Nowadays fashionable ol’ blue painter’s tape is used to give a new look to your wall artwork. It’s simply out of the world. So dig your old CDs and start working. Share and inspire others to do so.
