KARACHI: Former leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mustafa Kamal on Friday revealed that they will not take part in upcoming by-elections, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Former city nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal told party’s name still not decided but will be announced soon. He said that “Thousands of people want to join our team.”
While answering a question, Kamal said that he will not counter the allegations imposed on him and Anees Qaim Khani.
Earlier, two more senior leaders of MQM Waseem Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed left MQM and joined un-named political party of Mustafa Kamal.
Waseem Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed joined the team of former city mayor Karachi, Mustafa Kamal and the announcement has been made during press conference in Karachi.
Mustafa Kamal welcomed Wasim Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed for join the their team. He also paid special thanks to media persons for coming again and again.
Earlier, former leader of MQM, Doctor Sagheer Ahmed also left his party and joined the team of Mustafa Kamal and Aneed Qaim Khani.
