ISLAMABAD: After much delay and teasing we finally received the Game of Thrones season 6 trailer today and it is revving the internet. Game of Thrones team went to great lengths to avoid any plot leaks this seasons going as far as to drop pre-release screening DVDs for critics. Let’s see what the trailer reveals.
Snow is Dead!
Trailer clearly showcases a dead Jon Snow lying on the table. For now GoT is maintaining his death to the dismay yet the fans believe that he would be brought back from the dead by none other than the red lady, priestess of Lord of Light; Melisandre. or perhaps we know nothing either.
Mother of Dragons
The powerful and alluring Daenerys Targaryen is back in rugs and on the road with what appears an epidemic fleeing move from the cities she is seen walking along with thousands of her subjects, but the trailer also suggest – in a very subtle manner – that the dragons are watching over her, however her dragons didn’t appear in the trailer.
Cersei is blood thirsty, AGAIN!
Cersei hasn’t forgotten her humiliation at the hands of the monks and from the looks of it, she is out for revenge, this time using her younger son and King Renly. Margery is already in chains and pretty decayed from what the trailer reveals, leaving Cersei to have her way.
Bran walks to White Walker
Bran has been on the run through out the series and finally we see him standing, perhaps we would see him walking as well, near a White Walker. The encounter appears unplanned and devastating for the next in line Stark leader. While his sisters Arya and Sansa are also seen progressing in their respective style.
Trailer doesn’t reveal anything on the much hated and loved Tyrion Lannistor or several other characters including Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, Jamie Lannistor and Brienne. Season six would be aired from 20th April on HBO and the hype is already built up among the millions of Game of Thrones fans.
