SIALKOT: Pakistan disgraced fast bowler Mohammad Asif who has recently completed five years ban in spot fixing scandal along with Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt, has been nominated captain of Sialkot Region.
Asif will captain Sialkot Region in for Grade 2 round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, starting from March 5.
Asif made his comeback in January 2016, representing WAPDA in National One Day Tournament.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mohammad Amir has already made his place in national team while Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt have still to prove their worth for Pakistan recall.
