Quetta plunges into darkness

QUETTA: Heavy rain paralysed life on Tuesday night as Quetta and other parts of Balochistan plunged into darkness, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

According to details, more than 15 power feeders tripped in Quetta that put the city and surrounding areas into darkness.

Markets and shopping malls in the city were closed. A number of signboards and billboards fell.Floodwater entered a number of houses in low-lying localities of the city, damaging households and property.

Pakistan Meterological Department (PMD) predicted that more rains expected in Quetta and surrounding areas during next 24 hours.
