KARACHI: Police presented the founder of ‘Fix It’ campaign, Alamgir Khan before the court on Friday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
First Information Report (FIR) was registered against Alamgir Khan on the directions of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Dr Jamil Ahmed.
After the arrest, Alamgir Khan was shifted to undisclosed place but today police presented the founder of Fix It campaign before court.
According to details, DIG South said that after the long decision with SHO civil line decided to launch the FIR against Alamgir Khan.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) showed full support with Alamgir and demanded the release of young activist. Senior leader of PTI Imran Ismael and other supporters started protest outside the Civi Line police station.
Earlier, Karachi police on Thursday arrested founder of ‘Fix It’ campaign Alamgir Khan.
According to reports, Alamgir Khan arrived out side Chief Minister House along with truck full of garbage where police took the action and arrested Alamgir Khan and his driver.
Alamgir Khan tried to dump the garbage out side the CM house to record the protest. It is important to mention here that Alamgir Khan is also active member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
