Lahore Qalandars set a massive 202-runs target for Quetta Gladiators

DUBAI: Lahore Qalandars set 202-runs target for Quetta Gladiators in must-win match to qualify for play-off round of Pakistan Super League.

Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed invited Lahore Qalandars to bat first.

He has always been availing this tactic so far, but, this time it was different story for Qalandars as opening btsman Chris Gayle (60) and Azhar Ali (61) both smashed Gladiators bowlers all over the ground and set the tone for upcoming batmen.

Umar Akmal (55)and Dwayne Bravo (20) took reigns of Qalandars innings and started where both openers had left it off.

Umar Akmal completed second quickest fifty of PSL of just 23 balls.

He also holds the quickest (22 ball) fifty record in the league.

Lahore Qalandars set a mammoth total of 201/2 in their 20 overs.
