SHARJAH: Courtesy to Grant Elliot’s excellent performance with the ball, Quetta Gladiators have restricted Karachi Kings to 126/9 in 14th encounter of Pakistan Super League at Sharjah cricket stadium.
After winning the toss, Karachi Kings chose to bat first, but lost momentum straightaway as their opener Noaman Anwer was clean bowled by Anwer Ali for his 6 runs.
Shoaib Malik and Vince gave a little momentum to the innings but lost control when Grant Elliot removed Vince, and then Malik was gone for 46, bowled Nabi.
Elliot went on to cruise away Kings batting lineup, taking 4 key wickets for just 15 runs.
Karachi Kings lost last 6 wickets for 29 runs, putting 126/9 in 20 overs.
Gladiators will require 127 runs to win this contest.
