Lahore Qalandars set 167 target for Islamabad United

SHARJAH: Lahore Qalandars set a sizable total of 67 for Islamabad United in 9th encounter at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE.

After winning the toss, Islamabad standing captain Shane Watson put Lahore on bat.

Everyone was shocked by the decision as the pitch looked good for batting, but United bowlers bowled really well to keep Lahore Qalandars openers at bay.

Wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan (50*) and Dwane Bravo (32) played a handy knock for Qalandars to bring them to 166/6 in given 20 overs.

United’s Mhammad Sami bowled brilliantly for his 2 for 21 in 3 overs.

It would be interesting to see how Islamabad United pursue the target.
