U19 WC: Pakistan beat Nepal by 122 runs

DHAKA: Pakistan thrash Nepal by 122 runs in Under 19 World Cup’s play for fifth position at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah.

Nepal won the toss and put Pakistan to bat on flat wicket.

Pakistani openers Muhammad Umar and Gohar Hafeez left the pitch without making any run while Saif Badar (88) and Hasan Mohsin (117) have played stunningly in the match, setting the target of 259.

Nepal lost all the wickets after scoring 136 runs.

Earlier, West Indies beat Pakistan by five wickets in quarter final of Under-19 World Cup. The national team’s captain Zeeshan Malik was only able to make 3 runs while Umair Masood smashed stunningly 113 runs, setting target of 228 runs for West Indies.
