ICC bans Yasir Shah for three month

DUBAI: International Cricket Council on Sunday has banned Pakistani leg Spinner Yasir Shah for three months over doping issue, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Following the announcement, Yasir Shah, who was banned from playing cricket on December 27, 2015 will be able to play cricket from March 28, 2016.

The spinner told an ICC panel that he had taken his wife’s medicine mistakenly which led to his positive dope test on November 15 last year. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had also requested ICC to Yasir Shah’s case with leniency.

Pakistan’s bowler Yasir Shah was charged with an anti-doping rule violation under the ICC Anti-Doping Code.
