Aus vs NZ 2nd ODI: Back to Back wickets for Kiwis, updates

WELLINGTON: Back to back wickets have put Australia in bit of trouble against New Zealand in 2nd One Day International (ODI) of 5-match series at Westpac Stadium, Wellington.

Matt Henry has sent Australian Skipper Steve Smith and George Bailey back to hut on two consecutive deliveries of 2oth over of the innings.

Aussie all-rounder Maxwell fell to Boult after scoring just 6 runs.

Things were going right for Aussies when both openers were batting, Usman Khawaja made his maiden ODI half century but as soon as he got out Australia lost their concentration and at the moment Kangaroos are 144-4 in 22 overs.

Good thing for Australia is that set and in-form David Warner is still on crease with 80 runs.

New Zealand after winning the toss chose to bat first and put 281 runs for loss of 9 wickets on board courtesy to Kane Williamson’s 60 and Santner’s 45 at the end of the innings.

Josh Hazlewood took  wickets while Boland, Mitchell Marsh and Zampa took wickets each.
