Head coach Waqar Younis ready to resign

LAHORE: Head coach of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that he is ready to resign from his post.

According to media reports, after the heavy criticism on head coach after the poor performance in recent Twenty20 and One Day International series, Waqar Younis offered resignation to PCB.

Skipper of Pakistan T20 Shahid Afridi will also meet with selection committee for the future planning. Waqar Younis also participate in the meeting via telephone call.

Former Test cricket Pakistan cricket team, Sikandar Bakht claimed that Waqar Younis failed to absorb the pressure. Players were also failed to perform good under the leadership of Waqar.
