LAHORE: Punjab government on Monday has announced to keep the entire private and government schools across the province closed for five days from today 26th to 31st January due to severe cold conditions.
According to media reports, Punjab government issued a notification which stated that all the schools to remain close till January 31.
Punjab Minister for education has confirmed that these holidays are just for Schools and all other colleges and universities across the province will remain open.
Schools will reopen from first of February.
While on the other side Federal Education Department has announced that all the schoolm, colleges and universities will remain open in Islamabad.
