Sindh LB Polls: Polling underway in Sanghar, Badin

SANGHAR: Polling for Local Bodies (LB) polls on Saturday in Sanghar and Badin, Districts of Sindh, Pakistan, which were postponed earlier is underway, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

At least 376 joint polling stations have been established in Sanghar while around 1,997 polling booths, The LB elections were postponed as many as four times in Sanghar.

Polling started at 7 Am will continue without any break till 5: 30 Pm.

Number of registered voters in Sanghar is around 724,000. More than 1,000 police personnel have been deployed in the district to counter any unfortunate incident.

At least 277 polling stations have been declared sensitive while 330 extremely sensitive.
