TEHRAN: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif showed satisfactions over visit to Saudi Arabia and said that Muslim ummah should show unity, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
PM Nawaz said that it is our moral duty to play role of mediator between Saudi Arabia and Iran. “It is a holy mission to reduce the tension between two Muslim countries,” he said.
He also stressed that Muslim Ummah should show unity to face current problems.
Earlier, Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday has met Iranian Defence Minsiter in Tehran.
Raheel Sharif and Iranian Defence Minsiter stressed the need for more strengthening ties, also Saudi-Iran recent tension came under discussion and COAS stressed for the peaceful resolution of the issue.
It is to be kept in mind that Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and Raheel Sharif is visit of Saudi Arabia and Iran to resolve the tension that has created after the execution of Saudi scholar Nimr in Saudi Arabia.
