LAHORE: Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi on Friday scored a quick-fire 23 runs off just 8 balls with the help of 2 boundaries and 2 sixes.
He also got 2 Kiwi wickets in the 14th over of the game, turning the game decisively into Pakistan’s favour.
Moreover, he also caught 3 catches off Amir, Umar Gul and Wahab Riaz’s bowling, becoming the Man of the Match for the team.
Twitterati paid homage to the mega star by trending #GhatiyaSawalKaJawabMilGya and highlighted Lala’s performance on the micro-blogging website.
A few days back, Dunya News’ reporter Sanaullah had asked a question about his performance upon which Afridi had snubbed him, saying he expected this cheap (ghatiya) question from the reporter.
Afridi was criticized by media for snubbing the reporter in this fashion and Afridi’s fans, on the other hand, supported the Pakistan captain saying that the question was actually inappropriate.
Afridi’s performance today, however, gave his supporters a new flare who said their hero has responded to the ‘cheap’ question in a befitting manner.
