LAHORE: Pakistani middle order batsman Umer Akmal on Wednesday has appealed against one match ban, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
PCB spokesman told media that Board will make a tribunal for exciting criketer and he will be allowed to play International and Domestic cricket till tribunal’s verdict.
Also, Umer Akmal is now available for 1st T20 against New Zealand which is scheduled on Friday at Auckland.
Earlier yesterday PCB over turned its decision to ban talented middle order batsman Umar Akmal for first T20Â International for code of conduct violation and changed it to domestic one match ban.
According to sources, PCB took back his decision on Tuesday night and allowed Umar Akmal to be picked for inaugural T20 match against Kiwis on Friday.
Sources say, PCB was compelled by T20 skipper Shahid khan Afridi to alter its decision regarding Umar Akmal’s international match ban.
